Decrees is a game mechanic found in Endzone.

Description []

Using the Forum you can issue Decrees that the population of your Settlement are forced to comply with. Decrees have advantages and disadvantages for your settlement so be careful you don't ask too much of your Settlers. Up to two Decrees can be active at the same time, but appropriate Research must to be performed in order to access and issue some of them.

There are two types available:

  • Immediate Decrees which are carried out right away and cannot be carried out again until an abatement period, the point in time when the decree is no longer in force, has elapsed (see below).
  • Lasting Decrees which have an ongoing impact on the settlement until an abatement period, the point in time when the decree is no longer in force, has elapsed (see below).

Prohibits Settlers from boosting their Confidence by visiting their homes or other Building and, as result, distracting them from their work.
Icon decrees searchSurvivors Search for Survivors Immediate 3 Seasons
Instructs your settlers to listen to the radio for other survivors. May trigger a series of side tasks leading to additional settlers joining the colony.

All uneducated adults become educated. This decree consumes 2 knowledge from the Research Station.

The settler's consumption of herbs and medicine increases by 200%, but prevents the outbreak of new diseases.

All settlers increase the durability of their tools and clothing by 25%, but move slower.

Settlers are encouraged to move 25% faster than before, which increases their food and water consumption by 10%.

Prohibits settlers from giving birth to new children.

Children are banned from the settlement. Lowers confidence of settlers by 5.

Elderly Settlers are banned from the settlement. Reduces the Contentedness of remaining settlers by 3.
